Suspect Identified In Concord Homicide
Concord police say the armed and dangerous suspect may be driving the victim's car.

CONCORD, CA β Police say they've identified a suspect in the murder of 64-year-old Michael Downie at his home in Concord on Friday night, and there's a warrant out for the suspect's arrest. The crime scene, in the 1200 block of Pine Creek Way, was discovered around 9:30 p.m. when friends went over to check on Downie and found him dead.
Police said Terrence Boyd Dixon, 55, knew Downie β but detectives have not yet established a motive for the homicide.
They say Downie's car was stolen, and they believe that Dixon is driving it. The vehicle is described as a blue 2013 Hyundai Veloster with California license No. 6ZHZ052.

Dixon is believed to be armed and dangerous, and police say his whereabouts are unknown. Anyone who sees him, or Downie's car, is asked to call 911 immediately.
