VIDEO: Concord High's 'Ladies First' Sings a Christmas Classic

The barbershop choir sparkled on stage during Concord's 2012 tree lighting ceremony in Todos Santos Plaza, bringing new harmony to festive oldies. Aren't these teens talented?

Glittering in the lights of the Todos Santos stage, the singers of Concord High's barbershop choir 'Ladies First' made quite an impression during the 2012 tree lighting event.

Harmonizing festive classics like "Let it Snow and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," these teens showed off their vocal skills and finished to loud applause.

'Ladies First' sings a capella β€” without the accompaniment or forgiveness of background music β€” and is comprised of 10th through 12th graders at Concord High School. The choir has won multiple awards at home and abroad, and has performed at national events as well as local sports games for the San Francisco Giants, the Oakland Athletics and the Golden State Warriors.
