Culver City Robbery: Teenage Suspect Arrested

When arrested, the 19-year-old suspect still had the victim's belongings on him, police said.

CULVER CITY, CA — A Los Angeles teenager was arrested Tuesday for allegedly robbing three boys of their cell phones in Culver City.

The boys were walking along Ballona Creek, west of Overland Avenue, last Wednesday when they were confronted by Ezykel Audinette, 19, who said he had a gun and then robbed the youths of their phones, according to the Culver City Police Department.

The boys were able to give police a detailed suspect description and Detective Ivan Hernandez followed up on leads and identified Audinette as the suspect. Audinette was taken into custody about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon in the 6300 block of Green Valley Circle.
