Danville To Name New Mayor, Vice Mayor, & Community Service Awards Tuesday

DANVILLE, CA — Danville will name its next mayor, vice mayor, and Community Service Award recipients Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at the Village Theatre.

The evening will honor individuals and organizations who have made a difference in town life over the past year. That includes commendations to outgoing commissioners, awards of merit, and the Danville Award, which is awarded to groups or individuals who have made significant contributions to the community.

Seating begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event will also be broadcast through the town's website and on Contra Costa County Access Cable TV channel 26.
