Burglars Steal $24K In Items From Fremont Home: Police

A homeowner arrived at their residence on Nov. 8 and found the suspects inside, police said.

FREMONT, CA — Police say they're investigating a burglary earlier this month where two suspects stole tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry from a Fremont home.

A homeowner arrived at their residence on Nov. 8 and found two people inside, police said. The two people ran out through the backyard and drove off, the Fremont Police Department said.

The homeowner, according to police, told officers that they suspected the two people may have entered the residence through a window. The suspects are believed to have stolen roughly $24,000 worth of jewelry and other items, police said.

It's unclear if police have any leads on the crime, and no description of the getaway car was available. The case remains under investigation, police said.
