- Intoxicated Suspect Sleeps On Furniture, Slaps Store Manager: Police
A suspect was arrested on Nov. 3 after assaulting a furniture store manager who asked him to leave the business, police said.
Police say the suspect was sleeping on the furniture at the store along Boscell Road when he was asked to leave.

The suspect became hostile, police said, and struck the manager in the face before fleeing toward an alley behind the store.
Officers found the suspect intoxicated and arrested him, authorities said. It's unclear what charges he is expected to face.
- Mother Placed On Mental Health Hold After Asking Neighbors To Feed Baby: Police
A mother was placed on a mental health hold after asking neighbors to feed her baby, police said.
Officers responded on Nov. 1 to a home on Ashford Way to conduct a welfare check on the mother, police said. They placed her on a mental health hold and the child was given to another family member, police said.
- Possibly Intoxicated Suspect Slaps Officer: Police
A suspect was arrested on Oct. 28 after harassing people in Fremont and then slapping an officer, police said.
The suspect had been jumping in front of vehicles and hitting car windows in the area of Paseo Padre Parkway and Capitol Avenue when officers arrived, police said.
The suspect at some point slapped the officer's hand and was subsequently arrested, police said, adding that the suspect appeared to be intoxicated at the time.
- Suspect Stabbing Chair Near Schools Arrested: Police
A suspect armed with a kitchen knife near two schools was arrested on Oct. 28, police said.
The suspect had been stabbing the chair along Central Avenue and Fremont Boulevard as children walked to school, police said.
Officers arrived and found drug paraphernalia on the suspect, police said. Officers also found the suspect was on probation and arrested them, police said.
