Nat'l Merit Scholarships Awarded To 10 Fremont Students
These awards from colleges and universities are renewable for up to four years.
FREMONT, CA — Ten Fremont high school seniors were awarded National Merit Scholarships financed by colleges or universities, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced Tuesday.
The awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship. The exact award for each student was not disclosed.

One final group of scholarships for this year will be announced next month.

For 2024, 149 higher education institutions are underwriting awards through the National Merit Scholarship Program.
