Lost Property From 2019 Gilroy Garlic Festival Unclaimed: Police

The items, which include water bottles, shoes and hats, in addition to a few cell phones, will be disposed of by Dec. 31 if not claimed.

GILROY, CA — People who lost property in the 2019 Gilroy Garlic Festival mass shooting have until the end of the year to claim it from the Gilroy Police Department.

Most of the remaining property include water bottles, shoes and hats, in addition to a few cell phones. The items will be disposed of by Dec. 31 if not claimed, the police department announced Monday.

The shooting at the 2019 festival killed three people and wounded 17 others.

People should contact the Gilroy Police Department Property Unit at 408-846-0361 if they lost property that day.
