Man Accused Of Beating Autistic 9-Year-Old Boy At Gilroy Home
Police responded to a report at Saint Louise Hospital around 2:10 a.m. They did not provide an update on the boy's condition.
GILROY, CA — A man is accused of beating an autistic 9-year-old boy after breaking into a home in Gilroy early Monday morning.
The suspect is believed to be Joseph Sanseverino, who had been in a prior relationship with the boy’s mother.
Sanseverino still lived at the residence, according to police. Police responded to a report at Saint Louise Hospital around 2:10 a.m. They did not provide an update on the boy's condition.

Police are attempting to locate Sanseverino and another man — identified by the victim’s mother by the first name Ethan — who police believe broke into the home with Sanseverino.
