South Bay Pastor Arrested On Suspicion Of Molesting Children

MORGAN HILL, CA — A South Bay pastor was arrested on suspicion of molesting multiple children, the Morgan Hill Police Department announced Monday.

Carlos Ramos Castrejon, a 65-year-old pastor at Ministerios Generacion Josue, was charged Oct. 26 with 13 counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 and two counts of lewd acts, by use of force, on a child under the age of 14.

Castrejon, a Hollister resident, was suspected of having inappropriate physical contact with multiple children, according to Morgan Hill police. Police said in a news release that they believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office will take over prosecution. Castrejon was booked into Santa Clara Main Jail.
