Victim In Fatal Gilroy Hit-And-Run ID’d, Driver Still At Large
Vincent Aguilera, 60 of Gilroy, has been identified as the victim in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Gilroy Saturday night.
GILROY, CA — A pedestrian who was fatally struck in a hit-and-run collision in Gilroy on Saturday night has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office as 60-year-old Gilroy resident Vincent Aguilera.
The collision was reported at 11:40 p.m. at West 10th and Eigleberry streets, where police, fire and paramedics found Aguilera. He was flown to a trauma center but did not survive, according to Gilroy police.
Investigators are still searching for the driver of a pickup truck who was seen heading west on West 10th street.

There is still no description of the driver or the make or model of the pickup truck. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact them at (408) 846-0300. Information can be left anonymously on the department tip line at (408) 846-0330.
