SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman who was found dead Monday in a Windsor hotel room as Alexis Herda, 24, of San Francisco. Herda was staying in a room at the WorldMark resort with her boyfriend and at least four other people while they attended the Emerald Cup
cannabis industry awards over the weekend at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, Windsor police Sgt. James Percy said.
Windsor police responded around 10:15 a.m. Monday to a report of an unresponsive person who was not breathing in a room at the resort at 1251 Shiloh Road. Herda was deceased when police arrived.
The death does not appear suspicious and there were no signs of foul play, Percy said.
