Bird Bikes Are Back In Healdsburg
The three-year pilot program was launched in November but was suspended in January.

HEALDSBURG, CA — Healdsburg's Bird Bike Pilot Program has returned, the city announced Friday in the City Manager's Update.
The city's flock of Bird bikes first arrived in November thanks to a grant that funds the bikes for three years.
In January, the city announced Bird was picking up and storing the bikes until they were ready to go back into service. The program suspension may have been due to a personnel issue with the Bird company, The Healdsburg Tribune reported.

Take one to work, run a few errands, or go for a weekend ride. Bird's Bikeshare e-bikes can cover trips of 3-5 miles and help contribute to cleaner air — and less traffic.
Per the city, the bikes can be left at your destination as long as it's not blocking the public right-of-way.
