Healdsburg PD Arrests Cloverdale Man On Gun, Drug Charges

Three rifles, a handgun and several pounds of marijuana were found when officers served a warrant at a Cloverdale residence, police said.

HEALDSBURG, CA — A Cloverdale man was arrested Friday when Healdsburg police served a search warrant at his residence.

Officers with the Healdsburg Police Department served the warrant — a result of a prior arrest by the Healdsburg Police Department involving a stolen car — around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Three rifles, a handgun and several pounds of marijuana were discovered by officers during the service of the warrant, police said.

After the search, Ramon Macias, 39, of Cloverdale was arrested and booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of possessing an assault weapon, marijuana sales, and violating pre-trial terms.

The Cloverdale Police Department assisted the Healdsburg Police Department in the investigation.

A search late Monday of jail records indicated Macias has since been released from custody.
