Healdsburg Resident Among Those Arrested in Probation Sweep
Five people were arrested Sunday.

Five people were arrested in Sonoma County Sunday in an operation targeting repeat offenders and felony probation violators, Santa Rosa police said.
Those arrested included Santa Rosa resident Miguel Angel Carranza, a 35-year-old documented gang participant; Justin Peter Hayworth, a 26-year-old Healdsburg resident; Albert Mendoza, a 23-year-old Santa Rosa resident, a documented gang participant; Kenneth Dale Slayton, a 46-year-old Santa Rosa resident, and Gary Lee Turpen, a 65-year-old Santa Rosa resident, a 65-year-old Santa Rosa resident, according to Sgt. John Cregan.

The arrests were made as part of a multi-agency crackdown funded by state funds awarded to Sonoma County. Similar operations will take place throughout the year, Cregan said.
