• Malibu Names South Lake Tahoe's Joe Irvin as New City Manager (smdp.com) — Healdsburg gets a brief nod as part of new Malibu city manager Joe Irvin’s long municipal career, which includes prior service in Healdsburg, Sequim, Marco Island, and South Lake Tahoe. Malibu’s council chose him for his experience with wildfire response, emergency management, environmental stewardship, and managing complex coastal communities, and he’ll start the job in March 2026.
