Healdsburg's Safe Medicine Disposal is Saturday
Part of a countywide and Bay Area-wide effort.

Healdsburg residents may dispose of expired and unwanted medications in a safe and ecologically sound way from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1381 University St., Healdsburg.
The free disposal event is part of a weeklong countywide program.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Mark off personal information on the bottle
- Place unwanted medications in a plastic bag (Recycle your empty pill bottles at home)
- Keep liquids, ointments, lotions and creams in sealed containers
- Please DO NOT mix-in sharps or needles with your waste medications. Sharps are a safety hazard to the collection site staff.
