Man Hit By Car In Windsor Hospitalized With Serious Injuries: PD
The pedestrian — a 19-year-old Windsor man — was found on Old Redwood Highway suffering from serious injuries, police say.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A 19-year-old Windsor man was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle in Windsor on Friday, according to Windsor police. Police located the victim near Old Redwood Highway and Third Street around 3:55 p.m., police said. The victim was found in the southbound lane of Old Redwood Highway suffering from serious injuries, but police said officers helped stabilize him and he was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle, also identified as a 19-year-old man and Windsor resident, was driving a black Ford Mustang. Officers said the driver was cooperative and there was no evidence that alcohol or drugs were
involved in the crash.
Police said the victim was crossing the roadway in a crosswalk when he was struck. Old Redwood Highway was closed from Lakewood Drive to Third Street for about 30 minutes.

The accident is under investigation. The department is asking anyone with information on the collision to call Deputy Don Fletcher at 707-838-1234.
