Motorcyclist Killed In Healdsburg Crash
A Healdsburg intersection was shut down for several hours as the fatal collision was investigated.
HEALDSBURG, CA — A motorcyclist died in a collision with a car Saturday in Healdsburg.
The Healdsburg Police Department received numerous 911 calls at 5:26 p.m. Saturday about the crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Dry Creek Road and Grove Street.
Officers were at the scene within one minute of the initial dispatch and found the motorcyclist on the ground, Healdsburg police said.

"Life-saving measures were performed until Bells Ambulance paramedics arrived on scene and transported the motorcyclist to a local area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries," the police said.
The intersection just east of U.S. Highway 101 was shut down for several hours while an investigation was conducted.

The police department did not release the motorcyclist's name pending the notification of his family members.
