Nominations Sought For Marie Sparks Volunteer of the Year Award

HEALDSBURG, CA — If you know of an outstanding Healdsburg volunteer, now is the time to recognize them. The city of Healdsburg is actively seeking nominations for the 2024 Marie Sparks Volunteer of the Year Award.

Sparks was a woman who embodied the generous and unselfish spirit of volunteerism in Healdsburg. Upon her death in 1995, the Healdsburg City Council wished to remember her giving and unselfish spirit with the annual Marie Sparks Memorial Volunteer Award.

Nominees need to volunteer their time in Healdsburg and reside within the Healdsburg 95448 ZIP code. Nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, March 2.

Recipients will be honored at the April 7 City Council Meeting.
