Santa Rosa Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

Police released a surveillance photo of the robbery suspect.

SANTA ROSA, CA — Santa Rosa police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station at gunpoint this morning. The man entered the convenience store of the 76 gas station at 3230 Coffey Lane at the intersection of Piner Road and brandished a handgun around 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Sgt. David Linscomb said.

He pointed the gun at the clerks and demanded cash before he left. He entered a dark gray Volkswagen Jetta that was parked at a nearby business complex and drove away north on Coffey Lane, Linscomb said.

Police released a photo of the suspect, described as a black man in his mid 20s to mid 30s. He had facial hair and was wearing a light gray hoodie, Linscomb said.
