Woman Sexually Assaulted While Walking In Windsor: Police
BREAKING: Authorities are seeking a suspect — possibly driving a white plumbing van — in the sexual assault of a 50-year-old woman.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Windsor police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in north Windsor on Tuesday evening. The 50-year-old woman was walking near Brooks Road and Arata Lane at about 5 p.m. when a Hispanic male grabbed her buttocks, police Sgt. James Percy said. When the woman confronted the man, he tried to grab her buttocks again and made cruel sexual remarks to her, Percy said.
The suspect is described as being about 18 years old and 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a stout build.
The suspect ran north on a path toward Arata Lane, then went east on Arata Lane and south on Elsbree Lane. The woman was unable to keep up with him, but a citizen saw a man in a white plumbing van chasing the suspect, Percy said.

Neither the citizen nor the man in the van knew exactly what happened, but the man in the van caught up to the suspect, exchanged words with him and let him go, according to Percy.
Police want to talk to the man in the van about the suspect and are urging him and anyone else who saw the suspect to call Windsor police at 707-838-1234.
