1 Killed In Dramatic I-8 Crash In La Mesa
Witnessed reported seeing a man driving recklessly before a car went off an overpass and rolled onto the freeway.
LA MESA, CA — At least one person was killed in a pile-up on I-8 in La Mesa Saturday night. The cause of the fatal wreck remained under investigation.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred at 7:35 p.m. at Severin Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It wasn't immediately clear if others were injured in the crash.

Fox5 reported that several witnesses saw a man speeding and driving recklessly just before a car went off an overpass and rolled onto the freeway. Several vehicles struck the badly mangled wreckage, Fox reported.
The CHP did not withheld information about the identity of the person killed pending notification of their family.
