Mountain View Police Seek El Camino Bank Robber
After grabbing cash from a teller, the man walks out of the bank and turns on Fairmont Avenue. He is last seen walking towards View Street.
MOUNTAIN VIEW - The Mountain View Police Department is asking for your help in identifying a man who robbed a California Bank and Trust on Jan. 8.
Police say around 2:20 p.m. that Friday, the man walked into the bank, located on the 700 block of West El Camino Real, and demanded money.
The bank teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the man walked out of the bank and turned on Fairmont Avenue. He was last seen walking towards View Street.

Police describe the robbery suspect as an adult Black man, roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slender to medium build.
He was last seen wearing a black beanie with neon yellow and white writing on the front, a black jacket that had a zipper on the right, front side of his shoulder, blue jeans and white shoes.

He was also wearing sunglasses at the time of the robbery.
Anyone with any information on the man’s identity can contact the Mountain View Police Department at 650-903-6624 and ask to speak with Det. Kevin Galloway regarding case number 16-0162.
