Meth, Cocaine, Loaded AR-15 Found In Murrieta PD Search: Cops

MURRIETA, CA -- A convicted felon was arrested recently for allegedly selling narcotics and being in possession of firearms, the Murrieta Police Department announced Tuesday. Police said Matthew Fromer, 46, of Wildomar, was arrested on various charges after officers served a search warrant to his home.

Officers with the Special Enforcement Team said they found 22.6 grams of methamphetamine, 3.8 grams of cocaine, a loaded AR-15, loaded Berretta 9mm, a .22 caliber rifle, a replica handgun, and approximately 1475 rounds of various types of ammunition.

Fromer was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for numerous weapons and narcotics related charges. However, jail booking records show he was released from custody on Wednesday after posting $115,000 bail.
