If you're planning on attending the Bernie Sanders rally in Vallejo, there's some updated information you need to know.

VALLEJO - If you're planning on attending the Bernie Sanders rally in Vallejo at Waterfront Park, there are some new details you need to know.

According to information released Tuesday by the Sanders campaign, the Vallejo event is free, but RSVP's are strongly suggested.

Organizers say the entrance for the event will be found on the south side of the park in front of the ferry terminal, along the wharf.

For security reasons, you won't be allowed to bring bags into the event. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the program is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.

Here's the full text of the release from the Sanders campaign:

Information for the public: This event is free and open to public but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. General admission entrance can be found at the south side of Waterfront Park in front of the ferry terminal, along the wharf. For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Limited parking available in lots in the surrounding area. Public transportation information: Ferry station and SolTrans Vallejo Transit Center hub serving lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 78, 80, and 85. Carpooling and public transportation is highly encouraged.
