California Approves Emergency Fire Resources For Napa County

NAPA COUNTY — The California Office of Emergency Services is proactively placing fire resources in high-risk areas across the state as critical fire weather persists, the agency announced Tuesday. Cal OES has allotted critical fire engines and personnel across multiple counties to respond to fires, including across the Bay Area.

In Napa County, prepositioned fire resources include:

• 1 Local Government Water tender
• 2 Local Government IMT Members

• 1 local government hand crew
• 1 local government water tender
• 1 local government dispatcher

Contra Costa:

• 5 Local Government Engines
• 2 Local Government Water Tenders
• 2 Local Government Hand Crews
• 10 Local Government IMT Members
• 2 Local Government Dispatchers

Marin County:

• 5 Local Government Engines
• 1 Local Government Water Tender
• 1 Local Government Helicopter
• 1 Local Government Dispatcher

Santa Clara:

• 5 Local Government Engines
• 1 Local Government Hand Crew
• 2 Local Government Dispatchers

Sonoma County:

• 4 Local Government Engines
