City Of Napa Announces 4th Of July Drone Show To Replace Fireworks Show
Spectators can view the climate- and pet-friendly choreographed display of 400 drones from various vantage points.
NAPA, CA — The City of Napa is set to dazzle the community with an extraordinary 4th of July celebration, featuring an innovative and environmentally-friendly drone show. This year’s festivities showcase the City’s commitment to delivering an exciting community experience while aligning with its climate action goals and ensuring an inclusive event for all residents and pets to enjoy.
The highly anticipated drone showcase, presented by Sky Elements, will illuminate the night sky with a choreographed display of 400 drones above the Pearl and West Street parking lot.

Spectators can observe from various vantage points, including Oxbow Commons, the First and Third Street Bridge sidewalks, Veterans Memorial Park, China Point and the Riverfront Promenade. Viewers can also use this link to watch the countdown and listen to the official live music synced with the drone show — play the music in the video and watch the skies to experience an immersive drone show experience!
“We’re excited to introduce this cutting-edge drone show as part of our 4th of July festivities,” said Mayor Scott Sedgley. “It aligns perfectly with our climate action initiatives while ensuring a unique and enjoyable experience for all residents, including our four-legged friends and veteran community who may be sensitive to traditional fireworks.”

Napa's Fourth Of July Schedule Of Events
The day’s celebrations will commence with the annual Napa 4th of July Parade, presented by the Napa Sunrise Rotary at 9:30 a.m. The festivities will continue at Oxbow Commons from 3-10 p.m., with live music, a food and drink court and a lively kids’ zone from 3-8 p.m. featuring inflatables, carnival games and entertainment.
Attendees can groove to the tunes of DJ Ren the Vinyl Archaeologist, Momotombo and Wonder Bread 5 on the Main Stage. A special “Salute to America” segment will also take place from 8:15 to 8:30 p.m., paying tribute to the nation’s independence.
“Our 4th of July celebration is a cherished tradition that brings our whole community together,” said Steve Potter, City Manager. “This year, we’re thrilled to offer an innovative and environmentally-conscious approach in addition to our usual parade and festival activities that ensures everyone can partake in the celebration comfortably and safely.”
