Driver Suspected Of DUI In Napa Valley Head-On Collision: CHP
Both drivers were rushed to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with moderate to major injuries.
NAPA VALLEY, CA — The California Highway Patrol made a DUI arrest in connection with a head-on collision Monday night west of the city of Napa.
Napa CHP officers were notified at 10:50 p.m. Monday of a crash with injuries on Old Sonoma Road south of Congress Valley Road, CHP Officer Marc Renspurger said.
A 2000 Volvo S70 sedan and a 2018 Honda HRV had collided head-on, causing both drivers to suffer moderate to major injuries. Both were taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

The driver of the Volvo, Ganesh Singh, 22, was investigated and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI causing bodily injury.
The 56-year-old driver of the Honda, who was not under the influence, suffered major injuries and was being admitted to Queen of the Valley for further treatment, Renspurger said Tuesday afternoon.

Singh, on the other hand, was in the process of being treated and cleared for incarceration.
"Singh had been driving the Volvo southbound on Old Sonoma Road at a high rate of speed and weaving within his lane, eventually crossing over double-yellow lines, and crashing head-on into the Honda, which was driving northbound on Old Sonoma Road," Renspurger said.
