Emergency Drill Underway In Napa County

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A realistic emergency drill was underway Friday in and around Memorial Stadium on Menlo Avenue in Napa.

The Napa County Office of Emergency Services was holding the full-scale exercise in partnership with other jurisdictions.

"This is only a drill and there are no active incidents in Napa," the city of Napa said in an email at 10:58 a.m. Friday.

Public agencies began notifying community members last week that a realistic multi-casualty incident—MCI — was planned for Friday.

"Expect to see emergency responders in action—this is only a simulation to enhance preparedness and teamwork between jurisdictions."
