Owners Of Favorite Mexican Restaurant That Closed Its Doors — Again — Have Found A New Home In Napa
Fans of Don Perico won't have far to go when the Mexican eatery reopens for the third time downtown.
NAPA, CA — Don Perico, the family-friendly Mexican restaurant anchored in Napa Valley for decades, served one last margarita and plate of sizzling fajitas on Sunday before shuttering their First Street location in Napa.
The move left the owners, Marco and Berenice Castañeda, facing the search for a new location, meaning that Don Perico would reopen. When exactly that will happen — and where — was an open question.
The couple have at least solved the where question. They said they signed a lease Friday for a site at 1300 First St. in downtown Napa with the hopes of reopening in summer 2026.
