ST. HELENA, CA — Take 109 recycled barrels donated by Beringer Vineyards, add 800 feet of garland and nearly 2,000 ornaments, then mix in some creativity. The result: St Helena's holiday display.

The St. Helena Chamber of Commerce and JCD Atmospheric Studios designed and built the 36-foot-tall, earthquake-proofed "Christmas tree" of stacked wine barrels.

The display is located off Main Street at Hunt Avenue.
