Innovative Artists Shine At Napa Lighted Art Festival

With art projected onto three iconic buildings, plus 11 lighted art installations, the walkable outdoor experience transforms downtown Napa.

NAPA, CA —The Napa County Historic Courthouse on Brown Street was used for court scenes in the 1980s TV show, "Falcon Crest."

For this year's Napa Lighted Art Festival, it becomes a giant canvas that at times appears to resemble Swiss cheese. The courthouse is one of three projection art displays at this year's festival, which kicked off Jan. 18. The whimsical artwork titled "The Dream Factory" was done by Svitlana Reinish.

The family-friendly, walkable outdoor experience is free to attend. It features 11 lighted art installations and three projection artworks in support of innovative techniques that use light and light technologies as a growing art medium.
