Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Victim Found In CVS Parking Lot: Napa Police
The man fled detectives but was eventually taken into custody, police said.
NAPA, CA — A man is charged with the attempted murder of a 23-year-old found injured in a CVS parking lot in Napa, according to police.
Jaime Lisandro Lopez-Barajas faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a gun and resisting police, authorities said.
Officers responded to a reported shooting around 9 p.m. July 24 under the Maxwell Bridge in the 900 block of West Imola Avenue, according to police, who found the victim in the parking lot in the 200 block of South Coombs Street. The man was taken to a hospital and has since been released, police said.

Detectives found evidence and identified Lopez-Barajas as the man’s attacker, according to police. He was arrested July 30 after fleeing detectives on foot in the 600 block of South Jefferson Street, resulting in a short pursuit that ended with him being taken into custody, police said.
