Michael W. Smith Napa Concerts Give Back To The Salvation Army
Contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith will present donations to The Salvation Army of Napa on Nov. 2 and 3.

NAPA, CA — Contemporary Christian artist Michael W. Smith will present donations to The Salvation Army of Napa during concerts Tuesday and Wednesday nights at the Uptown Theatre in Napa.
The donations are being made through the Awakening Foundation and Altrua HealthShare and will support the nonprofit’s Napa Valley Culinary Training Academy, which provides job training, housing, mental health support, food, and more to people who are looking to get their lives back on track. Many who enter the program have graduated from other Salvation Army programs to overcome addiction and/or homelessness, according to a news release.
"I am thrilled and delighted with our Fall events line up and the continued partnership with Salvation Army to make a tangible impact in each of the local communities we are visiting,” said Dan Fife, president and founder of Awakening Foundation. “This past year our team faced some of the biggest challenges in the history of live events. Faith and courage helped us face those obstacles; and we have found blessings and gratitude on the other side of all the hard work and grit. Our team is honored to come alongside the Salvation Army to support the important work happening on the front lines of those in need.”
