Military Family Loses All Belongings During Move To California

A GoFundMe fundraiser is underway to help the Browns restore their lives.

CALIFORNIA -- A fundraiser is underway Wednesday after a military family of six saw all their items stolen during their move to California. The Browns reportedly lost all their belongings on June 3 when their moving truck was stolen in Las Vegas.

Now, loved ones hope to raise $10,000 to help the family recover.

Tim Brown, the patriarch of the family, said they were on their way to Travis Air Force Base in Solano County to fulfill new orders when they lost their belongings.

"The truck contained everything my wife and I have built over the last 10 years with our four children," Brown wrote. "There are things in that truck that are priceless and no amount of money will ever replace those memories lost."

Brown said the family has extended their stay in Las Vegas with the hope that local police will be able to track down the thieves.

"I am not one to ask for help and have always helped those when I could but anything will be appreciated," Brown wrote.

As of Wednesday, the family received more than $2,000 in donations.
