Mother's Day Brunch And More Indulgent Ideas In Napa Valley

NAPA, CA — If you’re looking for a brunch spot to take Mom for Mother’s Day, the Napa Valley has some eateries are on the list of 2025’s Top 100 Brunch Restaurants by the online reservation service OpenTable.

Each year, OpenTable looks at diner reviews and demand metrics to develop its list of the best brunch restaurants for Mother’s Day. Restaurants in the Napa Valley are:

• Scala Osteria in Napa, which offers, "offers traditional Southern Italian, seafood-centered recipes meant to be shared with family and friends in our warm and vibrant dining room." A check of Mother's Day, May 11, shows that reservations are still available.
• Mustards Grill in Yountville, "has blossomed into a destination for all who appreciate memorable food, superb wines and a warm welcome." Currently, the earliest reservation available on Mother's Day is 2:30 p.m.
• The Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, a Michelin starred restaurant, is booked for Mother's Day brunch. The first available reservation is 8:15 p.m.

California had almost a quarter of the 100 Open Table slots, with 22 restaurants on the list. The list is based on more than 10.5 million reviews from diners who booked their reservations on OpenTable from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2004.

But don't stop with brunch. Downtown Napa has come up with its own list of ways to make mom feel special, starting with over 55 tasting rooms and incredible shopping in the safe and walkable downtown.

• Chateau Buena Vista is a fabulous choice for Mother’s Day, as it offers both a Champagne and Caviar tasting as well as a Cabernet and Chocolate tasting or the ultimate luxurious experience, the Champagne, Caviar, Cabernet and Chocolate tasting.
