Napa police have arrested a local man on charges of possessing child pornography images and videos.

NAPA - Napa police have arrested a local man on charges of possessing child pornography images and videos.

According to information published by Napa police, 49-year-old Thomas Gregory Tracy was arrested Tuesday, May 3 at his home in the 2300 block of California Blvd.

Police say they were reacting to a report indicating Tracy on April 15 had contacted a resident via social media and offered to trade child pornography.

After an investigation, Napa detectives served a search warrant at Tracy’s residence on Tuesday.

Police say images and videos determined to be child pornography were found on Tracy’s electronic devices.

Tracy was placed under arrest for Possession of Child Pornography, a felony, and booked into Napa County Department of Corrections, according to authorities.
