"Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," the weather service said. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing."
Colder temperatures return tonight into Saturday morning. Frost and freezing conditions are likely for the North Bay Valleys and inland Central Coast and a Freeze Warning is in effect for these areas. Remember to protect people, pets, plants & pipes from the cold! #cawx pic.twitter.com/Z8k08uLjgj
