NAPA VALLEY, CA — The first significant rainfall since the Pickett Fire is expected to arrive on Monday.

To minimize effects, officials are asking residents to stay alert and use the time to prepare, especially in Simmons Canyon, Dutch Henry Canyon, and Schwartz Creek/Aetna Springs.

Napa County residents are asked to monitor culverts, bridges, stream crossings, and reservoir inlets and spillways for any signs of accumulated debris, increased sedimentation, and blockages during and after the storm.

Napa County staff will fan out Tuesday to monitor potential hazards from the storms.
