Teen Killed In Napa Crash Identified

The teenager was involved in a solo-vehicle crash.

NAPA COUNTY, CA -- Officials on Tuesday identified the person who was killed in a solo-vehicle crash. Jacob Patrick Paine, 19, of Sonoma, was found lying in the street in the 1200 block of McKinstry Street at 10:51 p.m. Sunday, according to Napa Police Department.

Arriving officers found Paine with major injuries before transporting him to a nearby hospital. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Police said one vehicle was involved in the incident that's currently under investigation. The investigation will look into the circumstances of the collision and whether drugs or alcohol contributed to this collision. All the involved parties were cooperative and interviewed, police said.
