Where To See Santa In Napa Valley This Christmas Season

Santa Claus is coming to town! Here is a list of his Napa-area appearances for community events, photo ops, breakfast with Santa and more.

NAPA VALLEY, CA —Visits and pictures with Santa Claus are treasured traditions for many Napa Valley local families. This year, kids have several chances to see jolly old St. Nick in person throughout Napa County.

Here are the details:

  • Thursday, Dec. 5, 5-7 p.m.: Christmas Tree Lighting and Meet Santa. Queen of the Valley Medical Center. Come meet with Santa and Ms. Claus as we light up the night with our enormous Christmas tree! This event meets in front of the hospital.
  • Friday, Dec. 6, 4-9 p.m.: Holiday Gift Market with merchant specials and Father Christmas at Azul Wine Lounge, 1014 Clinton St. Napa.
  • Friday, Dec. 6, 5-8 p.m.: Magic of the Season Tree Lighting and Holiday Marketplace, American Canyon. More info here.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.:Visit and photos with Santa at the Yountville Community Center. Donations are welcome and will benefit the Parks and Recreation Leader in Training Program. Visits from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. are reserved for little ones needing a quieter environment and more time for a successful visit. Call 707-944-8712 to schedule a time slot for a sensory visit. Drop-in visits are from 10:30 a.m to 1 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, noon-4 p.m.: Santa Meet and Greet at Holiday Market at First Street Napa. Support Napa Valley’s non-profits in friendly competition with online voting and auctioning, enjoy live music, holiday shop, meet Santa, and more!
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 2-4p.m.: Photo with Santa at L'AGENCE Napa Valley. Get ready for a jolly holiday moment. Santa is making a special stop at our office, and we’re inviting families to capture the magic with a festive photo opportunity. More info here.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 1-5 p.m.: Visits with Santa, Carneros Resort and Spa Town Square, Napa. Capture holiday memories with Santa Claus himself.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 3-6 p.m..: Cookies with Santa. Stop by the Christmas tree and sleigh near the windmill at Petaluma Village Premium Outlets to let Santa Claus know what you want for Christmas this year and snap a free photo with him in his sleigh. Parents and kiddos can enjoy hot cocoa and holiday cookies to refuel for Christmas shopping.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 5-8 p.m.: Napa Christmas Parade, Home For The Holidays-themed. The Kiwanis Club of Napa invites you to join the whole Napa community for the annual parade along Second, Brown and Third streets. See all the floats decorated over the top with lights and much, much more. After the parade, meet Santa at the Napa Valley Welcome Center for pictures with the kiddos.
  • Saturday, Dec. 7, 7 p.m.: Calistoga Tractor Parade. Participants go all out, adorning their vehicles with Christmas decorations, garlands and sparkling displays that light up Lincoln Avenue. The parade isn’t just about tractors; you might spot horse-drawn carriages, elaborately decorated floats, and even Santa Claus spreading cheer to the crowd.
  • Sunday, Dec. 8, 8-10 a.m.: Breakfast With Santa At Table 29 Bistro & Bar, American Canyon. Enjoy what has become a DoubleTree holiday tradition. Adult buffet $30, children 12 and under $15.
  • Thursday, Dec. 12, 4 - 7 p.m.: American Canyon Chamber Holiday Market and Mingle, RD Winery. Santa photo ops, Kids Commerce holiday shopping, more.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m. -6 p.m.: Napa SantaCon, Downtown Napa.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m. -5 p.m.: Downtown Holiday Market & Shopping Stroll, Kentucky Street, Petaluma. There will be pictures with Santa, face painting, music, and dancers. Local businesses and artisans will be selling holiday gifts.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m. -noon: Oakville Grocery Holiday House. Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with delectable bites, special wine pours, activities for children and pictures with Santa. In the spirit of giving and spreading holiday cheer, we are accepting donations for the Toys for Tots national toy drive. Bring an unwrapped new toy and receive an additional 10-percent off your purchase.
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-noon: Donuts With Santa, American Canyon. Wear your favorite jammies, grab a doughnut and hot cocoa or coffee, take pictures with Santa and make a holiday craft. Registration is $6 per person; more info here.
  • Sunday, Dec. 15, 10 a.m.: Visit Santa at the Ackerman Heritage House in Napa. Take your holiday family photo with Saint Nick in authentic Victorian holiday style. $15 plus tax per child and $12 plus tax per adult (visiting children and adults). Reservation required.
  • Sunday, Dec. 15, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.: Open House and Howl-iday Photos with Santa Paws, Napa Humane. For $20, receive a professionally shot digital photo of your friendly dog/s with Santa, creating a memorable keepsake for the holidays.
  • Thursday, Dec. 19, 5-7 p.m.: Cocoa and Carols, American Canyon. Ring in the holidays sing-along style. Enjoy refreshments, cookie decorating, holiday crafting and a visit with Santa. Participants are encouraged to bring their grandchildren. More info here.
  • Weekends through Dec. 22, 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.: Complimentary Santa Train Rides, Silverado Resort-Mansion Lawn and Circle.
  • Weekends through Dec. 22, 9 a.m.-noon: Breakfast With Santa At the Grill, Silverado Resort, Napa. Spend a memorable morning with Santa. Create lasting memories with your little ones and take a ride on the Santa Train. Buffet is $30 for adults, $15 for children plus tax and gratuity. Make a reservation.
  • Weekends through Dec. 22: Santa's Reading Corner at The Meritage Resort and Spa, Napa. Sponsored by Jelly Belly. Saturday and Sunday afternoons, Santa Claus can be found strolling through the Merry Meritage holiday village before settling in to read a story to little ones. Reservation required.
  • Select days through Dec. 23: Santa Train Jolly Journeys on the Napa Valley Wine Train. Each magical journey begins at the station, where cheerful carolers, a photo opportunity with Santa, and much more await. Check availability.

  • Thursday, Dec. 5, 4 p.m.: Annual Santa Stop, Central Valley-St. Helena. Come to meet Santa Claus and make your Christmas wishes.
  • Weekends through Dec. 22, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.: Photos with Santa at Montgomery Village. Reservation recommended. $10 donation suggested. See more information here.
  • Daily through Dec. 24, 10 a.m. -7 p.m.: Photos with Santa are available at Coddingtown Mall through Christmas Eve. All mall purchases receive a golden ticket and entry to the mall's "12 Days of Christmas" giveaways.
  • Daily through Dec. 24: Photo Time with Santa at Santa Rosa Plaza. Santa Claus is making a list and checking it twice, so reserve your photos with Santa today! He'll be here every day through Christmas Eve. Walk-ups are welcome; multiple families are scheduled for each 15-minute time slot.
  • Selected days through Dec. 24: Visit the busiest man of the season inside Macy's Union Square store in San Francisco. Book your time to join the line—it’s the only way to meet and take a photo with Santa.
  • Sunday, Dec. 8, 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.: A Special Visit With Caring Santa. Sensory-friendly experience exclusively for children with special needs and their families. Reservations are required for this private event at Santa Rosa Plaza.
  • Sunday, Dec. 8, 2-5 p.m.: It’s time for Santa Paws at Barber Lee Spirits, 120 Washington St., Petaluma. Bring your dog or cat for pictures with Santa by the copper still and tree. A portion of all drinks and purchases benefit Marin Humane. No need to sign up, just bring your fur baby!
  • Saturday, Dec. 14, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Cinnabon & Cocoa with the Clauses at Santa Rosa Plaza. Enjoy a special visit from Mrs. Claus, fresh cinnamon rolls from Cinnabon, hot cocoa and snap a photo with Santa!
