102 Degree Temps Expected In Northridge; Heat Advisory Issued
Northridge was expected to see 102 degree temperatures as Los Angeles County entered yet another heat wave.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Los Angeles County braced for another heat wave Monday as the National Weather Service issued heat advisories in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica Mountains.
Northridge was no exception, with temperatures reaching 102 degrees Monday and projected to hit 101 degrees Tuesday, according to AccuWeather. Wednesday was expected to hit 101 degrees again, with temperatures dropping to the low-90s by Friday.
The Los Angeles County Public Health Department issued an excessive heat warning in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Monica Mountains for Monday and Tuesday.

Neighboring areas in the San Fernando Valley were expected to see temperatures over 100 degrees throughout the week. Calabasas was expected to see a high of 98 degrees Tuesday, and Granada Hills and Panorama City were expected to hit at least 101 degrees, according to Accuweather.
