6 Hospitalized In Metro Bus Crash

The bus crashed into a pole on Lankershim Boulevard, injuring several passengers. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A Metro bus with passengers aboard struck a pole early Friday in Studio City, injuring at least seven people.

The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m. Friday in the 3900 block of Lankershim Boulevard.

Six passengers were taken to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to Metro, the bus driver was treated on site and released.

The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the cause of the crash.
