Airtel Plaza Hotel In Van Nuys To Close After 40 Years
The hotel has been in operation for four decades.

VAN NUYS, CA — The Airtel Plaza Hotel and Conference Center will close after 40 years in business on Sunday.
"After more than 40 years of proudly serving the San Fernando Valley and the greater Los Angeles community, the Airtel Plaza will be closing its doors on October 12, 2025," reads a Facebook post from the hotel. "Since opening, our mission has been to provide a welcoming space for business, leisure, and community gatherings. From weddings, celebrations, and conferences to family milestones and professional achievements, it has been our honor to share in so many meaningful moments with you."
According to the hotel's management, the property's landlord, Los Angeles World Airports, "has chosen not to renew our lease" despite the hotel's "best efforts."
