Boy Escapes Would-Be Kidnapper At LA County Community Pool
Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a man who followed and pestered a young boy at a community pool.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Detectives in Los Angeles Country are asking for help finding man suspected of trying to kidnap a boy at a neighborhood pool.
According to detectives with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station, a man approached a young boy at the Valencia Hills Homeowners Association community pool and began pestering him on June 13.
"An adult male contacted a young boy leaving the pool area and asked the juvenile to come with him to another location," according to the sheriff's department. "The male followed him for a short time before the juvenile was able to ride away on his bike."

The incident has rattled the community. Some on social media said the same man may have been seen at a nearby park.
