CSUN Students Create Technology To Fight Wildfire: Report
The technology has the potential to fight wildfires within seconds using drones.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Students at California State University, Northridge designed an autonomous air and ground vehicle system to fight fires, KTLA reported.
The vehicles use artificial intelligence to fight fires within seconds of them starting. The technology, though in an early stage of development, shows promise for its ability to fight fires with drones at scale, the students' advisors told KTLA.
