NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — Bronny James, LeBron James' son, remixed his dad's iconic pregame ritual in an Instagram post ahead of his junior year basketball season at Sierra Canyon.

LeBron James' pregame chalk toss has become famous, The SportsRush reported, and both Bronny James and his father posted pictures of Bronny James doing his own chalk toss on Thursday.

Bronny James captioned his photo "Year 3" referring to the start of the Sierra Canyon basketball season for his junior year of high school.

ESPN has Bronny James ranked at 49th of the 60 top recruits in the class of 2023. He is reportedly looking at Duke University, the University of Kansas, the University of North Carolina and the University of California, Los Angeles.

LeBron James has already faced off against some of Bronny James' former teammates from Sierra Canyon in the NBA, according to CBS Sports, which he said was a weird experience. In October, LeBron James found himself head-to-head with Ziaire Williams, a graduate of Sierra Canyon who was drafted to the Memphis Grizzlies this year.

The Sierra Canyon squad's first game is on Nov. 18 against Montgomery High School at Montgomery. Their first home game will be on Nov. 23 against Chatsworth Charter High School.
