Letter Carrier Robbed In San Fernando Valley: Authorities

A $150,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the conviction of three people involved in the robbery, officials said.

LOS ANGELES — Authorities are offering a $150,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three people involved in a robbery and two attempted robberies targeting letter carriers in the San Fernando Valley.

The robbery occurred Thursday and the attempted robberies happened prior, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, which said the incidents took place in Sherman Oaks, Tarzana and Valley Village.

The suspects — all males wearing face masks — were traveling in a white Honda sedan with what appeared to be custom rims, authorities said.

Those with information should not attempt to apprehend the robbers but should instead call the inspection service at 1-877-876-2455, say “law enforcement" andreference case No. 4483715-ROBB, according to authorities, who said all information will be confidential.
