Massive Sinkhole Shuts Down Major West Valley Boulevard
The 30-foot-wide sinkhole has shut down traffic on the boulevard as crews work to repair it.
WOODLAND HILLS, CA — Valley Circle Boulevard remained shut down in Woodland Hills Monday afternoon as crews worked to repair a massive sinkhole that opened up on the road.
The hole, likely caused by a water main break, was first seen at around 11 a.m. near El Camino Real Charter High School at Valley Circle Boulevard and Marina Street, KTLA reported. Water initially flowed into the intersection.
The 30-foot-wide hole remained open Monday afternoon and Valley Circle Boulevard was closed in both directions between Burbank Boulevard and Canzonet Street.
